Planning a Vacation

For many people, the most memorable vacation they'll ever take is one to an exotic location. The difficulty is, if you're trying to find your way around, avoid getting lost, etc., you may entirely miss the joy of vacationing. When planning your vacation, you should make sure you get a hold of a combination of maps and travel guides. Maps will give you information about location and help you navigate roads and streets. Travel guides will give you information about the locations you'll be visiting, including info on costs, visiting hours etc. The great thing is, there is a free travel guide available for almost any destination if you'll look online. These free travel guides are often as good as the versions you might pay for.

Free Utah Travel Guide

Shhh … don’t tell anyone. Utah is packed with outdoor recreation and is a perfect place to travel. And the good thing is, for most of us who like to take in all the incredible scenery and superb skiing, it’s still a little bit of a secret.

That means you can hike in national parks like Zion’s, Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands and Capitol Reef in solitude. And when it comes to skiing Utah’s famed powder, you can hit one of 13 world-class ski resorts within minutes from the Salt Lake International Airport. The accessibility is what separates Utah travel from other states. You can literally be on the slopes, enjoying more than 600 inches of the white stuff in places like Snowbird and Alta, in less than a half hour. And the summer in these resorts is a whole other vacation not to miss.

Accessibility, spectacular scenery, and some of the best outdoor recreation on the planet – that’s what Utah travel is all about. But there’s more, too. A Utah travel guide wouldn’t be complete without letting you know about golf courses surrounded by the Wasatch Mountains, beautiful Park City with its nightlife and the Sundance Film Festival, historic Temple Square in Salt Lake City, sunny St. George near Las Vegas, and the serene Lake Powell. And don’t forget whitewater rafting in the Colorado River that rolls through the Grand Canyon.

Utah is waiting to be discovered. But be careful when you visit. You might not want to leave.
